Terms of Service

Effective date: July 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you", "Customer") and Salf AI ("Salf", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of the Salf application, website, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, connecting a Google account to Salf, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Salf. The Service is intended exclusively for business use by sales, marketing, founder, or go-to-market personnel acting on behalf of a legitimate business. You must not use the Service if you are barred from receiving services under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction, or if you appear on any sanctions or denied parties list.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity performed by your employees, contractors, or anyone using your connected Google account through Salf.

4. Security of accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials, OAuth grants, API tokens, and any device that has an active Salf session. You must notify us promptly at legal@salf.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. Salf provides session management, role-based admin controls, audit logs, and revocation tools, but you remain responsible for using them and for any loss resulting from your failure to maintain account security.

5. Description of the Service

Salf is an AI sales-development automation platform. The Service may, depending on your configuration, research accounts, build an ideal customer profile, draft and send outbound email through your connected Gmail account, classify replies, propose and book meetings on your connected Google Calendar, enrich contacts via third-party data providers (including Apollo), and surface analytics. Salf is an automation tool. It is not a legal, financial, tax, employment, accounting, regulatory, or compliance advisor, and nothing produced by the Service constitutes such advice.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

The Service uses large language models and other machine-learning systems to generate content, classifications, and recommendations ("AI Output"). AI Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable. AI Output may "hallucinate" facts, names, prices, dates, links, or quotations that look plausible but are wrong. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI Output before relying on it or sending it to any third party. Salf does not warrant that AI Output is accurate, lawful, non-infringing, or fit for any particular purpose.

7. User responsibilities

You agree that you alone are responsible for:

  • The lawfulness of every email, meeting invite, and message sent from your connected accounts through Salf, including whether the recipient has a legitimate basis to be contacted.
  • Compliance with all applicable email, anti-spam, telemarketing, privacy, data-protection, consumer-protection, employment, and marketing laws in every jurisdiction in which you operate or in which your recipients are located, including but not limited to CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy, CPRA, PIPEDA, and analogous laws.
  • Maintaining accurate sender identity information (legal name, company, physical mailing address) as required by applicable law.
  • Honoring opt-outs, unsubscribe requests, and Do-Not-Contact lists, including those received outside of Salf.
  • The accuracy of contact, company, and prospect data you upload, import, or supply.
  • The configuration of your autonomy mode, send caps, daily volume, sending windows, and reply automation.
  • Any claims, complaints, takedown notices, deliverability damage, or domain-reputation impact arising from outreach you send through the Service.

8. Acceptable use

Our full Acceptable Use Policy details prohibited conduct and enforcement actions. In summary, you must not, and must not permit any third party to:

  • Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages prohibited by applicable law, phishing, malware, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful content through the Service.
  • Use the Service to contact consumers in jurisdictions where such contact requires prior consent you do not have, or to send messages with falsified sender information, deceptive subject lines, or fake unsubscribe mechanisms.
  • Use the Service in connection with adult content, gambling, weapons, illegal drugs, pyramid or multi-level-marketing schemes, cryptocurrency token sales, payday lending, or other categories that materially elevate abuse, fraud, or legal risk.
  • Upload contact lists you obtained unlawfully, scraped in violation of a third party's terms, or for which you do not have a lawful basis to process.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, models, prompts, weights, or underlying ideas of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or use bots, headless browsers, or automated agents against the Service except via interfaces we expressly provide for that purpose.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits, quotas, send caps, autonomy gates, role-based access controls, audit logging, or security mechanisms.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or attempt to breach any security or authentication measure, except under a written authorization from Salf.
  • Submit prompt-injection payloads, jailbreak attempts, or content engineered to cause the Service or its AI components to violate these Terms, exfiltrate other customers' data, or perform unauthorized actions; any successful or attempted exploitation is a material breach.
  • Use the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, or that materially exceeds the documented quotas or rate limits.
  • Resell, sublicense, white-label, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly authorized in writing by Salf.
  • Use the Service to build, train, or improve a competing product, or to benchmark for the purpose of building a competing product.

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including suspending or terminating your account, removing content, and reporting activity to law-enforcement or other authorities.

9. Google Workspace, Gmail, and Calendar integration

Salf integrates with your Google account using OAuth scopes you explicitly authorize. When you connect Google, you authorize Salf to read, send, modify, and manage messages and calendar events in the connected account on your behalf, to the extent permitted by the scopes you grant. Your use of Google services through Salf is also subject to Google's terms and policies, including the Google API Services User Data Policy (including the Limited Use requirements). Salf does not control Google's services and is not responsible for outages, delivery delays, spam-filter decisions, deliverability changes, account suspensions, quota changes, scope deprecations, or other Google decisions affecting your use of Gmail or Calendar.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Salf with your Google account complies with your organization's policies, your Google Workspace administrator's rules, and any third-party rights. You may disconnect your Google account at any time from the integrations settings; disconnection revokes Salf's tokens but does not delete content already created in Gmail or Calendar.

10. Apollo and third-party data integration

Salf uses Apollo and may use other third-party data providers to enrich company and contact data, surface signals, and reveal contact details such as email addresses or phone numbers. Third-party data is provided "as is". Salf does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, currency, or lawfulness of third-party data and is not liable for errors, missing fields, mismatched identities, outdated records, or compliance consequences arising from your use of it. Your use of third-party data through Salf is also subject to the applicable third-party terms, and you are responsible for using such data lawfully, including obtaining any consents required for outreach to the individuals identified.

11. Customer responsibility for outreach

All outbound email, replies, calendar invites, and other communications sent through your connected accounts are sent by you, from your account, under your identity. Salf provides automation; it is not the sender of record. You are solely responsible for the content, targeting, frequency, lawfulness, and consequences of every message, including spam complaints, blocklist additions, domain or IP reputation damage, ESP suspensions, contractual breaches, and regulatory penalties.

12. Autonomy modes and automation disclaimer

Salf offers configurable autonomy levels that allow drafts to be sent, replies to be handled, and meetings to be booked automatically. When you enable autonomous behavior, you accept that messages may be sent and meetings may be booked without an individual human review of each action, and that occasional duplicate, missed, mistimed, misclassified, misrouted, or otherwise incorrect actions may occur as a result of AI error, integration latency, data race conditions, prompt injection, or upstream outages. You are responsible for choosing the autonomy level appropriate to your risk tolerance and for monitoring the activity log.

13. No guarantees

Salf makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty regarding any business outcome you may hope to achieve through use of the Service, including but not limited to: number or quality of meetings booked, replies received, leads generated, pipeline created, revenue, conversion rates, deliverability rates, inbox-placement rates, spam-folder placement, sender reputation, response times, or accuracy of any classification, enrichment, scoring, or recommendation. Past performance, examples, and benchmarks are not predictive of future results.

14. Early access and evolving features

Salf is under active development and portions of the Service may be labelled as beta, preview, or experimental. Beta features are provided "as is" and "as available", may be incomplete, may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice, may produce errors, and are excluded from any service-level commitment. Paid subscription plans (Section 17) are generally available and are not beta features. You acknowledge the evolving nature of the Service and assume all risk associated with the use of any feature identified in product as beta, preview, or experimental.

15. Intellectual property

Salf and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the software, models, prompts, designs, trademarks, documentation, and all improvements and derivatives. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes during the term of your account.

You retain ownership of the content you provide to the Service ("Customer Content"), including your prospect data, message content, and configuration. You grant Salf a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use Customer Content solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

16. Feedback license

If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant Salf a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, modify, and exploit the Feedback for any purpose without restriction or compensation.

17. Subscription and billing

Salf is offered on paid monthly subscription plans. Current plans are Starter ($499/month), Growth ($999/month), and Pro ($1,499/month). Each plan includes the full Salf intelligence engine and differs only in monthly usage capacity (campaigns, contact reveals, AI generations, email sends) and automation features. Current plan details, limits, and pricing are displayed in-product on the Billing page and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Payment processor. Salf uses Stripe, Inc. as its payment processor. When you subscribe, you provide your payment details directly to Stripe. Salf does not receive, store, or process your full payment card number. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions bill monthly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price for your plan, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize Salf and Stripe to charge that payment method on each renewal date.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from the Manage billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to your paid plan's features and capacity for the remainder of that period; no partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of a canceled term except as required by law or as expressly stated in the Refund Policy.

Failed payments and grace period. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge automatically over a short retry window. During this window your subscription is marked as past-due and access to the Service continues. If all retries fail, the subscription will be canceled and access to paid features and capacity will end at the end of the current billing period. Once your account is in past-due status, we may pause certain automated actions (autonomous sending, reply handling) at our discretion until payment is restored.

Usage limits. Each plan includes monthly usage limits. When you reach a limit, the affected action will be temporarily disabled until the next monthly reset or until you upgrade. Limits are enforced server-side and are not a service outage. Unused capacity does not roll over between billing periods.

Plan changes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. The new plan's usage limits apply from the effective date.

Taxes. Prices displayed are exclusive of applicable taxes. Where required by law, sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar transaction taxes are calculated and collected by Stripe at checkout and shown on your invoice.

Refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Except as set out there or as required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable.

Price changes. We may change plan pricing or usage limits with at least thirty (30) days' notice by email or in-product. Changes will take effect on your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

18. Suspension

We may suspend or restrict your access to all or part of the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that: (a) your use violates these Terms or applicable law; (b) your use poses a security, abuse, fraud, deliverability, reputational, or operational risk to Salf, other customers, recipients, or third-party providers (including Google or Apollo); (c) you have failed to pay amounts when due; (d) we are required to do so by a third-party provider, court order, or regulator; or (e) extraordinary circumstances require suspension to protect the Service. Where practicable we will notify you of the reason and any remediation steps.

19. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the settings page. We may terminate your account and these Terms for convenience on reasonable notice, and immediately on notice for material breach, repeated breach, suspected fraud or abuse, non-payment, or for legal, regulatory, or third-party-provider reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may disable access, revoke OAuth tokens, and delete account data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

20. Account deletion

You may delete your account from the dashboard settings. Deletion permanently removes your account data and revokes Salf's OAuth tokens with Google. Limited scrubbed records may persist in security audit logs and backups for the periods described in the Privacy Policy, as required for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Deletion does not remove content already created by you in Gmail, Calendar, or any third-party system.

21. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE, AI OUTPUT, AND ALL THIRD-PARTY DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALF DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. SALF DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY MESSAGES WILL BE DELIVERED, READ, OR REPLIED TO. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM SALF CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.

22. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SALF, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, PIPELINE, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, REPUTATION, DOMAIN REPUTATION, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF SALF HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, SALF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM: (a) AI ERRORS OR HALLUCINATIONS; (b) INCORRECT, INCOMPLETE, OUTDATED, OR MISMATCHED PROSPECT OR APOLLO DATA; (c) GMAIL, CALENDAR, GOOGLE, THE LOVABLE AI GATEWAY OR ITS UPSTREAM MODEL PROVIDERS, APOLLO, STRIPE, OR OTHER THIRD-PARTY OR INFRASTRUCTURE OUTAGES, LATENCY, RATE LIMITS, OR ACCOUNT SUSPENSIONS; (d) DUPLICATE, MISSED, MISTIMED, MISCLASSIFIED, OR MISROUTED MESSAGES OR MEETINGS; (e) SCHEDULING MISTAKES, TIMEZONE ERRORS, OR CALENDAR CONFLICTS; (f) USER MISUSE, MISCONFIGURATION, OR FAILURE TO MONITOR AUTONOMOUS BEHAVIOR; (g) SPAM COMPLAINTS, BLOCKLIST LISTINGS, OR DOMAIN OR IP REPUTATION DAMAGE CAUSED BY CUSTOMER OUTREACH; (h) PROMPT-INJECTION OR OTHER ADVERSARIAL INPUTS; (i) BAD, UNLAWFUL, OR UNAUTHORIZED CUSTOMER DATA; (j) TEMPORARY SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS OR MAINTENANCE; (k) SECURITY INCIDENTS DESPITE COMMERCIALLY REASONABLE SAFEGUARDS; (l) PLATFORM ABUSE, REVERSE ENGINEERING, SCRAPING, OR AUTOMATED ABUSE BY ANY PARTY; (m) EXCESSIVE API USAGE OR QUOTA OVERAGE COSTS; (n) CHARGEBACKS, FRAUD, OR PAYMENT-PROCESSOR DECISIONS; OR (o) REGULATORY OR LEGAL VIOLATIONS COMMITTED BY YOU OR YOUR USERS.

SALF'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (i) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO SALF FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (ii) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100). YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT, DURING ANY FREE BETA PERIOD, THE APPLICABLE CAP IS USD $100. THESE LIMITATIONS ARE A FUNDAMENTAL BASIS OF THE BARGAIN AND APPLY EVEN IF A LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

23. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Salf, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all third-party claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Customer Content, including the prospect data, lists, and message content you supply or generate through the Service; (b) outreach sent from or by your connected accounts, including spam complaints, anti-spam-law claims, privacy-law claims, and deliverability consequences; (c) your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or any third party's rights (including Google's and Apollo's terms); (d) your misuse of the Service or misconfiguration of autonomy settings; and (e) any dispute between you and a recipient or other third party arising from your use of the Service.

24. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party services, including Google (Gmail, Calendar, OAuth), the Lovable AI Gateway (which routes model requests to underlying providers such as Google's Gemini models), Apollo, our hosting and database providers, Stripe, and email delivery providers we engage. A current list of sub-processors is maintained on our Subprocessors page. These services are governed by their own terms and are outside Salf's control. Salf is not responsible for any change, deprecation, limitation, suspension, security incident, data handling, or outage of any third-party service, even where it interrupts or degrades the Service.

25. Force majeure

Salf will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance to the extent caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, pandemics, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, third-party API or infrastructure outages, or denial-of-service attacks.

26. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

27. Dispute resolution

The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting legal@salf.ai and negotiating in good faith for at least thirty (30) days. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Each party waives any right to a jury trial. Except where prohibited by law, any claim must be brought in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

28. Changes to the Service

Salf is under active development. We may add, change, remove, deprecate, or limit features, integrations, models, quotas, or interfaces at any time. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to announce material changes that meaningfully reduce functionality in-product or by email.

29. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-product or by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

30. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order form, constitute the entire agreement between you and Salf regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements on the subject. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; Salf may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to Salf must be sent to legal@salf.ai.
